Hi folks, it’s Sean and Josh, we’re extremely excited to tell you about Tiny Tranquility’s second location in Hiouchi, California, Tiny Tranquility – Redwoods.  Tiny Tranquility’s first location in Waldport, Oregon was created to provide a safe, comfortable and community-oriented environment for owners of tiny home RVs to live successfully (and legally) within a tiny home of their choosing.  The concept was also premised on the idea that a location surrounded by amazing natural features and that provided appealing amenities within the park for residents to come together outside of their tiny homes was a good “formula” for a successful tiny home community.  Since its opening in 2018, Tiny Tranquility Waldport has grown and evolved into a thriving tiny home community with over 40 tiny homes and several vintage travel trailers.  

The Waldport location has been fully occupied for several years and has a lengthy waiting list, which spurred us to search for another location that would allow us to try to duplicate the same formula that was used at the Waldport location. We were immediately drawn to the Redwood Meadows RV Park property due to the amazing natural beauty surrounding it.  The park is a stone’s throw from some of the world’s largest and most majestic redwood groves in Jedediah Smith State Park, down the road from the wild and scenic Smith (Nii~-li~) River and a short drive to the stunning Northern California and Southern Oregon coastline.  Coupled with easy access to Crescent City (population 6,000) and Brookings (population 6,700), which are within 15 and 30 minutes of the Park, respectively, we think this provides a superb combination of access to natural beauty and proximity to the necessities –  grocery shopping, hospital and medical care, community activities and other opportunities to enjoy the benefits and social activities associated with a more populated area.
